  1. Add holiday hours with ease

    Holiday hours and closures

    We've given 'Special Dates' a serious overhaul and a new name — it's now easier than ever to make sure your store is open (or closed) at the right times during holidays, events, or temporary closures. You can now create closures or adjusted hours for multiple dates in one go. Just choose your start and end dates, and you’re done.

    Easter is just around the corner — jump into store settings today and get your hours sorted ahead of time.

    Customers can easily share private feedback after they order, giving you instant access to real-time insights that can be used to improve service. Celebrate the wins with your team, address bad experiences directly with customers before they go public, and keep your reputation strong. Learn more

    We're already working on Smart Reviews ✨, an extension on Order Feedback that will boost positive ratings and reviews on your Google listings, helping you attract more customers and grow your business. Happy customers will be automatically prompted to leave a review on Google. Stay tuned for more info, coming soon.

  3. Point-of-sale integration improvements

    POS Integrations Upgrades

    Thanks to your feedback, we're rolling out several improvements to our preferred point-of-sale integrations with Lightspeed and Square.

    Off the back of a renewed commitment to their O-Series (Kounta) POS platform in Australia and New Zealand, we've even been able to work with the team at Lightspeed to bring you some highly requested updates to functionality in their POS, unlocking features you've been eager to use with Bopple.


    Lightspeed O-Series x Bopple 🔗

    • Company-wide menu imports – Menu imports can now be triggered for all stores with a single click via the new Company ➜ Menu ➜ Imports page in your Bopple Back Office.
    • Partial refunds in POS – You can now process partial refunds on Bopple orders directly in the point-of-sale.
    • Modifier availability – Lightspeed 'Product Availability' now allows you to mark modifier items as sold out and have that sync to Bopple in real-time. Learn more 

    Square x Bopple 🔗

    • Multi-category items – Items assigned to multiple categories in Square will now be imported and shown to customers in multiple categories in Bopple.
    • Item sorting – Items can now be sorted and arranged within categories in the Square Dashboard, and this will be reflected in your online menu after the next import.
    • Item availability sync – Further improvements to ensure item availability changes you make in Square are reliably reflected in your online menu in real-time. Learn more

  4. Edit menu items imported from your POS

You can now fine-tune products and categories imported from your POS directly in Bopple Back Office to refine names, add missing images and descriptions, and more.   5. Improved subscription management

    Bopple Billing Update

    We've simplified how billing works in Bopple, and you can now access your invoices right in your account—no more external billing systems with pesky separate logins and one-time passwords.

    With this upgrade, we're also laying the foundation for more improvements like monthly transactional invoices, direct debit payments, and other important updates to make managing your business on Bopple easier than ever before.

    Unlock the new billing experience today by following the prompts in Back Office.

  6. Partial refunds

    You can now issue partial refunds for online orders—perfect for situations where an item is unavailable or didn’t meet expectations. This feature helps you keep customers happy without relying on full refunds or credit vouchers.

    Available in Bopple Back Office and through our Square POS integration. Coming soon to Bopple Orders Manager.

    Lightspeed Kounta POS only supports full refunds for online orders at this time. Add a vote on the feature request for their team to build this improvement and we'll pass it along.

  7. Personalisation for mobile app home screens

    Mobile App Personalisation - Banner

    In September, we introduced a new home screen for mobile apps to create room for a more tailored experience for your customers. Now, we’re taking it even further by adding new, dynamic content to this page, designed to boost sales through enhanced personalisation and convenient ordering shortcuts.

    This is rolling out to all branded mobile apps in our current release. Stay tuned for more updates on home screen content management coming soon to Back Office 😏

  8. Sync stock availability from Square in real-time

    Our integrations are always evolving to bring you more flexibility and control. You can now sync your online item availability in real-time directly from Square Dashboard or Square POS. Enable this feature today via Store SettingsIntegrationsConfigure Square

  9. Customer account security improvements

    To enhance account security, we’ve introduced email notifications for new logins on customer accounts. These alerts ensure customers are aware of any access to their account, and prevent saved payment methods from being used unless and account is verified, adding an extra layer of security.

  10. Shareable QR codes and links

    QR codes and links are the gateways to your online menu and more. We’ve powered up these tools and moved them to a dedicated page in the Marketing section in your Back Office, making it easier than ever to share QR codes and links that enable seamless transactions.

    Easily grab QR codes and links to direct customers to view menus for specific order types, join your loyalty program, download your app and much more.
