  1. Ability to mark modifiers as sold out in Orders Manager

Currently products and modifiers can both be marked as sold out in Back Office > Menu > Availability. This is great. In Orders Manager we can only mark products as sold out. It would be good if we could also manage modifier availability in Orders Manager.

  3. Notify customers of adjusted wait time on in-progress orders

Add the ability to delay an order through the Bopple Orders Manager, incase there are BOH operational issues "An order comes through at 6:00pm and we have a 50 minute wait time in the system, so the customer is given a 6:50pm pick up time. But by 6:40pm, we have fallen behind because of whatever (blown up cheesy log, oven needs a clean out, things are moving slower in BOH than we assumed they would etc), so now the realistic pick up time is 7:10pm. Customer arrives at 6:50pm, asking where their pizza is. We inform them it will be another 20 minutes. Customer not happy. Customer asking why the app has not updated and pretty pissed off they have to wait an additional 20 minutes and weren’t made aware of this."

  4. 'Pay at Counter' option for QR ordering

I would like my customers to be able to order via QR codes at the table, but sometimes they prefer being able to pay for their order at the counter after they've had their meals and are finished dining, rather than paying up front.

  6. Lead times on categories

Currently, we can configure lead times on the order type level (Pickup / Delivery). Although sometimes, there are categories that may require a longer lead time, i.e. Special Cakes or Pastry items. Having the ability to set a lead time on the category level would solve this workflow.

  7. Set different order limits for pickup vs delivery

The current Order Limiting feature allows us to specify one limit per timeslot for pickup and delivery orders combined (eg. 5 pickup and delivery orders every 15mins). This is ok if you are using third-party delivery like DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct, as it's just about your kitchen capacity. We run in-house delivery with our own drivers, so we also have a constraint in terms of our driver availability, so we'd like to be able to set a separate limit for delivery orders, based on how many deliveries our drivers can typically complete per hour, for example.

  8. Product-based order pacing & limits

Currently, venues can only set pacing rules (e.g., one order per 15 minutes) at the order level which can limit flexibility for venues (like Pizza Restaurants) with different preparation times across product categories. Ideally it would be possible to have: Category-specific pacing – e.g., limit pizza orders to 5 per 15 minutes, while allowing unlimited donuts or drinks within the same period. Maximum item limits per timeframe – e.g., cap total products purchased at 30 items per 30 minutes to maintain operational control. This would prevent a single complex item (like pizza) from occupying an entire slot while still allowing simpler, faster items to flow through, unlocking more revenue without overwhelming the kitchen.

  9. Deals & Combos

Ability to create menu items for deals, where more than one layer of selections are required in the customer ordering flow. For example, a 'Burger & Beer' combo. The customer needs to select their beer in a list of options and then select their preferred burger. When selecting the burger, the customer also needs access to all the modifiers and add-ons offered on their selected burger.

  10. Buy X Get Y Promos

When specifying what a customer has to do to be eligible for a discount, we can currently only specify a minimum purchase as a dollar amount. We'd like the ability instead to specify what product the customer has to order, including a quantity, in order to unlock the promo. This allows us to drive more purchases of items with higher COGS and/or items we need to sell more of due to stock movement etc. For example, we'd like to be able to run a promotion such as Buy 1 Acai Bowl, Get a 2nd Half Price

  11. Dynamic wait times based on quantity of item ordered

We run a Pizza & Pasta venue and can only produce a specific number of pizzas at any given point. We use prep time plus order limiting to try and manage customer expectations (e.g. if multiple customers order 5+ pizzas each, that blows out our wait time) but because this is a global setting, it sets false expectations for customers who only order, say, pasta & calamari - which in reality only takes us 10 minutes to prep.

  12. Recurring and scheduled surcharges

As a merchant, having automated / recurring weekend surcharges is very important to our business as it's too easy to forget to manually turn them on and off, resulting in charging customers incorrectly - which can cost our business and create a poor experience for our customers. It would also be great to have the option to schedule surcharges for specific dates in advance, for public holidays.

  13. Recurring Promotions

We need the ability to set promotions up so that they're automatically active on certain days of week / certain times of day, in addition to the standard start/end date for the promotion. This will help us drive repeat visits and build positive customer behaviour. For example, we'd like to give customers 20% off all orders before 11am on Mondays. This is one of the quieter periods for us, so we'd like to drive more orders in this time.

  14. Ability to Hide Sold Out Items / Modifiers

Having a menu with a lot of sold out items or modifiers can look tacky. Having the ability to hide sold out items or modifiers would solve this.
