Default "leave at door" when customer can't be found for Uber Direct delivery
Customers can choose "meet at door" or "leave at door" when placing their delivery order. If they choose "meet at door" but the driver cannot find them, the default Uber rule is to return the order to the store. Change this to have the fallback be "leave at door", where the driver will be prompted to take a photo showing where they left the order for the customer. This increases the likelihood of the customer being able to retrieve their order, and prevents wastage that occurs when cold food is returned to the store, and .

Loyalty & Promotions on Kiosk
Ability for users to login or signup when ordering via Kiosk to earn points and redeem rewards.
#New Feature π#Loyalty#Kiosk - 4
Allow multiple discounts / discount stacking
We'd like to let customers redeem multiple discounts/promotions on checkout. We have some ongoing discounts that are offered to certain customer groups (eg. staff) β we'd like them to also be able to redeem other promotions like loyalty rewards at the same time.
#New Feature π#Marketing#Promotions - 5
Mailchimp integration
Automatically sync opted-in customers and purchase activity to Mailchimp for targeted email and SMS campaigns and automations.
#New Feature π#Marketing#Integration π - 2
Customisable upsell groups and suggestions
Extending on the automated item-level upsells, which automatically suggest other items that are frequently bough together, this idea allows operators to create their own specific upsell groups. This would look something like: There is a place in Back Office to manage upsell groupsI can create a new upsell group and give it a name (eg. Need a drink?)I can choose which existing menu items are in the upsell groupI can then choose which items the upsell group is shown on

Klaviyo integration
Automatically sync opted-in customers and purchase activity to Klaviyo for targeted email and SMS campaigns and automations.
#New Feature π#Marketing#Integration π - 5
Notify POS when an order is unconfirmed
Currently if an order has some kind of POS error (eg. menu setup errors) Bopple sends an email to the listed store contact email address. These are often missed during service, so a better way to alert frontline staff of the unconfirmed order is required. An improvement would be to send an "empty" order to the POS with a note that tells staff there is an order needing to be confirmed in Bopple Orders Manager or Back Office.

Multi-Store POS Imports for Square
Ability to click a single button to re-import menus on all stores under a company when Square is the integrated point-of-sale.
#Improvement π#Menus#Integration π - 8
Respond to Customer Feedback
Ability to respond to customer feedback directly in Back Office.
#Improvement π - 5
Store Alerts for Customer Feedback
It would be ideal if we could get an email notification whenever a customer submits feedback, so we don't need to manually check the Back Office

Marketing status in Customer Profiles
Indicate the customer's marketing status for my business in the new customer profiles area.
#Improvement π#Marketing - 22
Deals & Combos
Ability to create menu items for deals, where more than one layer of selections are required in the customer ordering flow. For example, a 'Burger & Beer' combo. The customer needs to select their beer in a list of options and then select their preferred burger. When selecting the burger, the customer also needs access to all the modifiers and add-ons offered on their selected burger.
#New Feature π#Menus - 2
Half & Half for Pizza Menus
Relates to https://bopple.frill.co/roadmap/deals-combos This work will also unlock proper support for Half-Half Pizzas, where the customer needs to select two pizza flavours, each with their own sets of addons/removals and customisations.
#New Feature π#Menus - 8
Size-Specific Modifier Sets
Ability to support products where different variants or sizes have different modifier sets assigned. Most commonly needed in scenarios where modifiers need different pricing depending on the size selected by the customer, for example: Alternate milk pricing depending on coffee sizeBottles of wine require a selection for number of glasses, whereas regular glasses do notPizza toppings that vary depending on size
#Improvement π#Menus - 4
Inbox for branded app push notification history
Branded apps should have an inbox, so users can access past notifications sent by the app. Helpful for cases where the user might dismiss the notification and want to look at it again, or if the user has not granted permissions for pushes so does not receive the actual notification on their device.
#New Feature π#Marketing#Branded Platform - 9
Recurring and scheduled surcharges
As a merchant, having automated / recurring weekend surcharges is very important to our business as it's too easy to forget to manually turn them on and off, resulting in charging customers incorrectly - which can cost our business and create a poor experience for our customers. It would also be great to have the option to schedule surcharges for specific dates in advance, for public holidays.
#Improvement π#Operations - 10
Recurring Promotions
We need the ability to set promotions up so that they're automatically active on certain days of week / certain times of day, in addition to the standard start/end date for the promotion. This will help us drive repeat visits and build positive customer behaviour. For example, we'd like to give customers 20% off all orders before 11am on Mondays. This is one of the quieter periods for us, so we'd like to drive more orders in this time.

Kiosk Ordering
A lot of restaurants are adopting ordering kisoks to reduce the pressure on front of house staff. We would find this very useful. This would allow customers to order and pay from a kiosk screen.

'Pay with the App' aka Check-in Payments for Lightspeed
What is a check-in? Customers can tap a "check-in" button in your app experience, which checks them in to your site on the POS. When a customer is checked in on your POS, they are surfaced at the top of the customer list. Why check-in? Once a customer is checked in on your POS, this unlocks: Seamless customer attachment on sales. Loyalty interactions in the POS made easy. No barcode scan or customer search required. App payments with Bopple, even for customers who want to order over the counter, saving more time for staff. Unlock earning points and redeeming rewards via the POS in a Bopple Loyalty Program [COMING SOON]

Improved Menu Browsing Experience
Put simply, we're making it easier for customers to browse large menus. We're exploring a vertical category list, visual categories and a few other improvements.
#Improvement π#Menus - 1
Loyalty Design Refresh
Giving the app and web loyalty experience some love, with improve layouts and theming, as well as clarified redemption flows on checkout.
#Improvement π#Marketing#Branded Platform - 1
Multi-Store Item Availability
In this update, we'll be making it far faster and easier to manage store menus without needing to navigate into each store area in Back Office. With this release, you'll be able to view and manage item availability (whether products and modifiers are in-stock or unavailable) for all stores in one area, without needing to navigate between store accounts. A simple, quick way to make sure everything is available when it should be.
#Improvement π#Menus - 2
Item Availability Buffer
Sometimes third-party platforms aren't able to provide updates to stock/item availability fast enough to ensure customers can no longer order the item in the online store or mobile app. This can lead to point-of-sale systems failing to receive orders due to "stock errors", which creates a bad customer experience and a headache for venue staff. With this setting, a buffer can now be set to effectively reduce the amount available online, allowing for some delays in the POS system providing updated stock availability to Bopple. For example, a croissant product: Available in POS: 5 unitsStock buffer: 2Online menu: Only 3 left Feature available on request via help.bopple.com
#New Feature π#Menus#Operations - 11
App-Only Promo Codes
Ability to create a promo code that can only be redeemed in a branded app (promo not valid in web ordering). We want to drive more app installs, and one way we'd like to do this is running some of our regular promos as "app-only". This will allow us to start converting more of our customers who order regularly via the web across to our branded app, with the goal being to increase our reach for push marketing via the app.
#New Feature π#Promotions#Branded Platform - 1
Multi-Store Menu Products
In this update, we'll be making it far faster and easier to manage store menus without needing to navigate into each store area in Back Office. First up, you'll be able to view store products for all stores in one area, without needing to navigate between store accounts. One page for all your products.
#New Feature π#Improvement π#Menus - 2
Menu Overrides: Modifier Visibility/Arrangement + Category Arrangement
Weβre adding more flexibility for POS-integrated businesses with the introduction of 'POS Menu Overrides'. This new feature lets you take control by customising even more menu details directly in the Bopple Back Office Menu Manager. This gives you greater control to beautify your menu and create the best digital menu experience for customers. Included in this update: Override names on Modifier Sets and ModifiersOverride visibility on Modifier Sets and Modifiers (eg. hide modifier set for all stores)Override Category sort order/arrangement For more info on POS Menu Overrides already released, see: https://bopple.frill.co/roadmap/pos-menu-overrides-v1

Ability for you to set the default display behaviour of a modifier set to 'Collapsed' or 'Expanded'. Ideal for those items with longer lists of optional add-ons and customisations where you don't necessarily need every customer to see the whole list of options.
